# Google Tasks

AI agents can help you stay on top of Google Tasks without opening the app. Here’s what you can do, with examples.

### 1. See your task lists

Find the task lists you have access to.

Examples:

* Show all my task lists.

### 2. Get a specific task list

Pull details for one list by name.

Examples:

* Get my primary task list.
* Get my work tasks list.

### 3. Browse tasks

Filter by status, due date, or last updated.

Examples:

* List all tasks from my primary task list.
* List only completed tasks from my primary task list.
* List upcoming tasks that are due before September 1, 2025.
* List tasks I updated after August 15, 2025.

### 4. Add tasks

Create tasks or subtasks with due dates.

Examples:

* Add a task “Buy milk” due tomorrow at 6 PM to my primary list.
* Add a subtask “Write demo” under task “Project Epic” in my work list.
* Add a task “Book Prague hotel” as an all day reminder on September 10.

### 5. Delete tasks

Remove tasks you no longer need.

Examples:

* Delete task “Buy milk” from my primary list.
* Delete subtask “Write demo” from my work list.
