# Google Drive

AI agents can help you manage Google Drive fast, with plain names instead of IDs. Here’s what you can do, with examples.

### 1. Work with files

Create, find, rename, move, copy, delete, and search files.

Examples:

* Create a Google Docs “Project Plan” file in My Drive.
* Get details for “Project Plan”.
* List all files in My Drive.
* Rename “Project Plan” to “Project Plan Final”.
* Move “Report.docx” into folder “Q3 Reports”.
* Copy “Project Plan” into Q3 Reports in My Drive.
* Delete “Old Budget.xlsx”.
* Search files with name contains “invoice”.

### 2. Share and permissions

Give or remove access by email, and see who has it.

Examples:

* Share “Project Plan” with <my@gmail.com>.
* List who can access “Project Plan”.
* Change <my@gmail.com> to editor on “Project Plan”.
* Remove access for <m@gmail.com> on “Project Plan”.

### 3. Work with folders

Create, list, inspect, rename, move, copy, and browse folder contents.

Examples:

* Create a folder “Q3 Reports”.
* List all folders in My Drive.
* Get details of folder “Q3 Reports”.
* Rename “Q3 Reports” to “Q3 Archive”.
* Delete folder “Temp Uploads”.
* Move “Assets” into “Marketing”.
* Copy folder “Marketing” into My Drive.
* List everything inside “Q3 Reports”.
* Search folders with name contains “Marketing”.

### 4. Shared drives

Create, list, rename, and delete shared drives.

Examples:

* Create a new shared drive “Marketing”.
* List all shared drives I have access to.
* Rename shared drive “Team” to “Team Archive”.
* Delete the shared drive “Obsolete Team”.

### 5. Comments

Discuss changes right on the file.

Examples:

* Add a comment “Fix intro” to “Project Plan”.
* List comments on “Project Plan”.

### 6. Storage and maintenance

Check space and handle cleanup or IDs when needed.

Examples:

* Get my Drive storage usage.
* Empty my Drive trash.
* Generate 3 file IDs.
